I love omakase sushi experiences, bacon-flavored dark chocolate, long road trips with my navigator asleep in the seat next to me, black coffee all morning long, and the smell of rain. I’d rather be poor, naive, and found than rich, sophisticated, and lost. If I could do it over again I wouldn’t because it was the pain and misery and bloody mistakes that took me to my knees and led me to Jesus. One day I mean to start a small neighborhood church for the folks who think they aren’t welcome in a church. And, the Lord willing, I hope to outlive my wife so that it is I who she depends on right to the very end.
Inspired by my love for my child, I published my first book, Why a Daughter Needs a Dad, in 2002, and have been writing ever since. Using words to celebrate love and families, I have forty-plus titles to my credit today, including the Always in My Heart series. I have published in the Advice, Inspiration, Christian Devotions, Children’s Books, and Fiction genres. Recently, I began illustrating my children’s books myself, and look forward to releasing new titles under my own imprint. I hope my books inspire you with hope, remind you of why you love someone so dearly, or help you express yourself when you want to let someone know just how much they mean to you.
Photography is my second passion, and with it, I share the beauty and wonder of God’s creation. While any beautiful scene will catch my attention, my habit is to travel to our national parks to bring images into the homes of people who may not be able to travel to all of these wonderful locations.
Thank you for letting me be a small part of your special moments and memories. God bless!
